Johnny J. Williams

Johnny J. Williams graduated from East Duplin High School in 1984 and immediately went to Coastal Carolina Community College to proceed with his career in Land Surveying. In 1986 he received his Associates of Applied Science Degree in Land Surveying from Coastal Carolina Community College. After various part time surveying jobs in college, Johnny Williams began his surveying career in Surf City, North Carolina with a company named Aris & Associates Inc. He worked with Aris & Associates Inc. for one year and during that time obtained his surveying intern license. After leaving Aris & Associates, Johnny Williams moved to employment with Quadrant Surveying, Inc. PA in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He worked with Quadrant Surveying for a ten year period from 1987 through 1997. During that time he became a licensed land surveyor in the State of North Carolina in 1988. After licensure, Johnny purchased stock ownership in the company of Quadrant Surveying, Inc., PA. He remained a partner in that company from 1988 until 1997. In 1997, Johnny J. Williams Land Surveying was founded. At its inception, Johnny J. Williams Land Surveying consisted of the owner and one part time employee. Since that time it has grown to a company that has employed over 20 people. Currently, Johnny continues to survey for the company as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the business.

Johnny J. Williams is a lifelong resident of Duplin County. In 1988, he married Rose Thigpen and they have two children, Taylor and Carson. Johnny is a member of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors, the Coastal Chapter of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors, the National Society of Professional Surveyors, and the Beulaville Presbyterian Church. He is involved with the youth in Duplin County through coaching recreational sports such as baseball, soccer, and basketball.
